Join us for SRO's first Children's summer theater workshop!

Through creative play, imaginative scene building, character development, along with set & costume projects we will immerse students in theater creativity. We will focus on the development of projection, delivery, stance, movement and understanding of theater terms to build "good habit" skills and confidence together.

Join us for SRO's first Children's summer theater workshop.

Through creative play, imaginative scene building, character development, along with set & costume projects we will immerse students in theater creativity. We will focus on the development of projection, delivery, stance, movement and understanding of theater terms to build "good habit" skills and confidence together.

We will lead participants through the process of auditions, rehearsals and performances. Through music, dance and acting - everyone earns a moment in the spotlight! Families and friends are invited to the culminating performances to celebrate the participants' development and creations of the 2 week program.

Classes are weekdays from 9am to Noon), culminating in two performances (Friday evening and Saturday afternoon).

The class is open to students currently enrolled in grades K-5 (approximately, ages 6-11).

PLAY stands for Performing, Learning, Aspiring, Youth.

This summer, our program is sponsored by the City of Yelm Parks and Recreation department.
